Removal and installation wheel sensors (BMW 7 Series E38)

1. Remove the appropriate wheel.

2. Open the connector housing (1), remove the connector (2) from the holder and disconnect it.

3. When removing front pull the sensor cable with the rubber bushing out of the mount on the suspension strut.

4. When removing rear remove the sensor cable from the holders on the rocker arm.

4. When removing rear remove the sensor cable from the holders on the rocker arm.


5. Loosen the bolt (1) and remove the ABS wheel sensor from the hole.



5. Loosen the bolt (1) and remove the ABS wheel sensor from the hole.


6. Clean and lubricate the hole for the wheel sensor with Staburags NBU 12/K grease.

7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Make sure that the connector is securely fixed, the cable is positioned correctly in the holders, and the rubber bushing is installed correctly.
