Trunk lid trim (BMW X3 E83)

Removal and installation the trunk lid trim

1. Remove the luggage compartment light (on the trunk lid).



2. Remove the expansion rivets (1).

Note: When installing, damaged rivets (1) must be replaced.

3. Unscrew the screws (1).

4. Release the clamps (2) and remove the trim (3) with a downward movement.

Note:

• All clamps (1) are white.
• If damaged, replace the clamps (1).

5. Remove the soundproofing material (2) from the old cladding (3) and move it to the new cladding.

6. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
