Removal and installation the left or right gas-filled shock absorber of the trunk lid
Attention:
- Secure the trunk lid in the open position using a suitable device.
- Risk of injury.
1. Before removing, record the installation position of the gas-filled shock absorber(s).
2. Move the retaining spring (1) toward the end of the gas-filled shock absorber (2) and remove the gas-filled shock absorber.
3. Repeat this operation at the other end of the gas-filled shock absorber (2) and remove the gas-filled shock absorber.
4. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
