Removal and installation the front bumper trim support beam
1. Remove the front bumper trim.
2. Disconnect the wire holders (1) from the support beam (3).
3. Disconnect the connectors (2) of the horn sound signals.
Note: If necessary, pull out the headlight washer system wire.
Note: If damaged, replace the wire holders (1).
4. Loosen the threaded connection (1).
5. Remove the bolts and washers (3).
6. Remove the support beam (2).
Tightening torque: 28 Nm.
7. Loosen the nuts (2) and remove the horn horns (1).
Note: Only for replacement.
8. Loosen the screws or remove the rivets (3) and remove the brackets (4).
Note: Only for replacement.
Note:
- Depending on the design level, various brackets (4) with different mounting options can be installed.
- Bumpers as standard.
- Bracket (4) in front of support beam (5), fastened with rivets.
- Aerodynamic kit for M-Styledo 02/2006.
- Bracket (4) at the rear of the support beam (5), fastened with screws.
- Aerodynamic kit in M style from 03/2006.
- Bracket (4) in front of support beam (5), fastened with screws.
9. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
