Throttle body (N46) (BMW X3 E83)

Removal and installation the throttle body (N46)

1. Read the DME system control unit fault codes.

2. Turn off the ignition.

3. Remove the air intake hose.



4. Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).

5. Loosen the bolts and remove the throttle body (2).

Tightening torque: 9.8 Nm.



6. Check for damage and, if necessary, replace the sealing ring (1) on the throttle body (2).

7. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.

Note:

• Check the recorded fault codes.
• Clear fault codes.
