Removal and installation the pipe between the air flow meter and the throttle body (BMW 7 Series E38)
Models with M60 engine

1. On models with the system ASC T disconnect the hose (1), loosen the clamps (2) and remove the air intake sleeve.

2. On models without a system ASC T loosen the clamps (1 and 2) and disconnect the hose.
3. Loosen the clamp (2) and remove the air intake sleeve.
Models with M62 engine

1. Disconnect the hose going to the idle speed control (IAC) valve. Loosen the clamp (1) and disconnect the pipe from the throttle body.

2. Remove the bolt (1), disconnect the MAF sensor connector and remove the upper section of the air cleaner together with the air flow meter and pipe.

3. Disconnect the air flow meter (1) from the pipe (2) and resonator (3).
4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
