Draining/topping up oil in a manual transmission (GS 6 — 37 bz) (BMW X3 E83)

Note: The gearbox must be warmed up to operating temperature.

• Transmission oil: MTF -LT-2.
• Amount of oil: 1.5 l.

1. Drain the oil.

1) Unscrew the drain plug (1) and the filler plug (2).

2) Clean and screw in the oil drain plug (1).

Tightening torque: 35 Nm.

2. Fill with transmission oil.

1) Pour oil until it starts to overflow the edge of the hole.

2) Screw in the filler plug (2).

Tightening torque: 35 Nm.
