Installing a reverse gearbox
Attention: Check the oil level after completing the work.
Attention:
- Use only certified brands of transmission oil.
- Failure to comply with this rule will result in serious damage to the manual transmission.
Attention:
- Collect leaking transmission oil and dispose of it.
- Observe the applicable national disposal regulations.
1. Drain the oil through the oil drain hole.
Tightening torque: 35 Nm.
2. Remove the transfer case.
3. Remove the gearbox.
4. Transfer the following parts from the old gearbox to the new one:
1) Replace the release bearing and clutch release fork.
2) Knurled screws of the slave cylinder with the clutch hydraulic drive.
3) Reversing light contact switch.
Tightening torque: 16 Nm.

5. Move the gear selector shaft sleeve.
6. Move the retaining ring (1) back and press out the cylindrical pin (2).

Note: Check the damping washer (6) for damage and replace if necessary.
7. Install the removal part on the vehicle.
8. Check the oil level.
