            0

The storage battery (AB), depending on the installed power unit, has a total nominal voltage of +12 V and a different capacity, which must not be lower than:

6-cylinder petrol engine with manual/automatic transmission – 70 A h;

8-cyl. petrol engines with automatic transmission – 90 A h;

diesel engine with manual/automatic transmission – 90 A h.

The positive terminal ("+") of the battery is connected to the starter directly through its relay, and to other energy consumers through the mounting and relay unit. The battery is located in the trunk of the car behind the trim of the right side panel.

Regardless of the position of the key in the ignition switch or its absence, the power circuits are constantly connected - the side lights, the luggage compartment light, the horn, the clock, the cigarette lighter, the audio system and the centralized door locking system.

Attention! When removing the battery, information about malfunctions (codes) is erased from the power unit malfunction memory, computer settings, audio system, security alarm devices and other codes.
