Removal



Open the engine compartment hood

Unscrew the fastener and remove the inner lining of the engine compartment hood.

Unscrew the fastener and remove the inner lining of the engine compartment hood.


Disconnect hose "1" of the washer jets and close with a plug.

Disconnect the electrical wires for heating the washer jets from the washer jets, remove the wires and hoses from the hood.

Unscrew the ground jumper "2".

Unscrew the ground jumper «2».


Disconnect the gas-filled shock absorber. To do this, remove the spring clip and press the shock absorber. At the same time, have an assistant support the hood.

Caution: The shock absorber is under pressure.


Mark the position of bolts "3" and "4" with a felt-tip pen.

Unscrew the hood bolts and remove the hood with an assistant.

Installation



Place the hood with an assistant and lightly tighten the hood bolts.



Align the hood according to the marks made and tighten the hinge bolts.

When installing a new hood, slightly tighten the bolts in the middle position, carefully close and adjust the hood.

Insert the left and right gas-filled shock absorbers and secure them with spring clips.

Lay and connect the hose and electrical wires for the washer jets.

Close the engine compartment hood and check the position of the hood in relation to the front fenders. If necessary, adjust the engine compartment hood.

Insert the inner hood trim and secure it with screws.
