Loosen the screws, remove the lock cylinder. At the same time, disconnect the connecting rods.
If necessary, unscrew the 2 bolts securing the actuator motor of the central control locking system and remove the actuator motor. Disconnect the connector first.
Installation
Insert the lock cylinder and secure with 2 screws.
Insert and screw the lock.
Connect the connecting rods.
On vehicles with central locking: Connect the connecting rod to the actuator motor and then insert it into the lock cylinder. To do this, turn the plastic clamp so that the cutout is at the bottom. Then press the connecting rod.
Screw on the actuator motor.
Connect and snap the actuator motor connector into place.
Check the operation of the lock and the central locking system.
Install the trunk lid trim.
If necessary, adjust the trunk lid lock.
