Removal


Open the boot lid and remove the lower trim. To do this, pull out the spacer rivets "1". Pull out the trim "2" from the handle recess and unscrew the screw located underneath. Unfasten the trim by moving it downwards. The arrows in the figure show the location of the clamps. Replace damaged clamps with new ones.

Cut the clamp holding the wires and disconnect the plug connector.

Pull out rod "1".

Unscrew nuts "2" and remove lock cylinder "3".

Unscrew nuts «2» and remove lock cylinder «3».


Unscrew the fastening of the upper part of the trunk lid lock.



Installation



Insert the upper part of the lock and screw it in. If the lock is being replaced, then move the installation drive to the new lock.

Insert the lock cylinder into the center of the recess in the body and screw it in. If the lock cylinder is replaced, the microswitch should be moved to the new cylinder. To do this, remove the spring clip, press the holder and remove the microswitch.

Install the connecting rod.

Connect the electrical wires and secure them with a new clamp.

Check the clamps for the lower trim of the luggage compartment lid for damage; replace any damaged clamps.

Place the lower trim against the trunk lid and screw it in place. Insert and secure the expansion rivets. Secure the trim.
