Removal and installation the rear luggage compartment trim (Limousine) (BMW 5 Series E39)

Removal

Open the trunk lid.

Open the side compartment lids in the luggage compartment.



Unscrew one plastic nut "1" on the left and right.

Note: The picture shows the holes in the removed trim.

Pull out the pins and squeeze out the 4 spacer clamps "2". 3 - cover plate for the screws securing the lower part of the trunk lid lock.

Lift the trim over the luggage attachment eyes and remove.

Installation

Insert the trim at the bottom with both plastic pins into the holes.

Insert the spacer clamps and press the pins.

Tie the fastening of the cladding on the left and right.

Close the side compartment lids and the trunk lid.
