Emergency oil pressure sensor
1. Unscrew the oil filter cap - this will allow the oil from the filter to pour into the sump and reduce oil loss when replacing the sensor.
2. Remove the air cleaner as shown in a chapter 4A.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the oil pressure sensor and unscrew the sensor from the base of the oil filter housing (pic. 18.3).
4. Screw in the new sensor and tighten it to the required torque. Connect the connector.
5. Replace the air cleaner and oil filter cover. Bring the oil level up to the required level.
Emergency oil level sensor
6. Drain engine oil (see chapter 1).
7. Remove the crankcase protection from under the engine.
8. Disconnect the electrical connector from the oil level sensor, unscrew the three fastening nuts and remove the sensor from the sump (pic. 18.8).
9. Clean the surface of the sensor tray.
10. Replace the sensor with a new gasket and securely tighten the sensor mounting nuts.
11. Reinstall the engine crankcase guard. Fill the engine lubrication system (see chapter 1).
Oil temperature sensor
12. Unscrew the oil filter cap - this will allow the oil from the filter to pour into the sump and reduce oil loss when replacing the sensor.
13. Remove the air cleaner (see chapter 4A).
14. Disconnect the electrical connector from the oil temperature sensor and unscrew the sensor from the base of the oil filter housing (pic. 18.14).
15. Screw in the new gauge and tighten it the demanded moment.
16. Install the air cleaner and oil filter cover. Fill the engine lubrication system.
