1. Install the car on a horizontal platform.
2. Locate the final drive fill/inspection plug. This plug is located on the rear cover of the assembly (pic. 10.2). Turn out a stopper and remove a sealing ring.
3. Place a container under the main gear, then remove the drain plug (it's on the bottom of the back cover) and let the oil drain. Remove the sealing ring.
4. Inspect the o-rings. If they are damaged, replace them.
5. After all the oil has drained, put the sealing ring on the drain plug and tighten the plug to the required torque.
6. Fill the final drive through the filler/inspection hole with the recommended type of oil (see chapter 1). The oil level should reach the lower edge of the inspection hole. Tighten the plug and take the car for a short trip.
7. At the end of the trip, put the car on a level surface again. Turn out a stopper of a jellied/control opening. The oil level should reach the lower edge of the hole. In order to set the required oil level, do the following. Wait until the oil stops flowing out of the check hole. Top up the oil until the oil flows out again.
8. After the oil level is set, screw in the plug and tighten it to the required torque.
