Some accessories in a car use a relay to transmit an electrical signal to a component. If the relay fails, the component will no longer function properly. Relays are electrical switches that are often used in high-current circuits or where complex switching is required.
Relays of different types are grouped and located in different places under the dashboard and in the engine compartment.
If there is a suspicion that the relay is faulty, it should be removed and checked at the dealership of the company or any auto repair shop. No repair of the relay is possible. Faulty relays, like fuses, should be replaced with relays of the same type; some relays look the same but perform completely different functions.
