If your vehicle's radio is equipped with an anti-theft system, make sure you have entered the correct code before disconnecting the battery cable. See section for information Anti-theft audio system and instrument panel language before disconnecting the wire.
If after connecting the wire on your instrument panel there are inscriptions in the wrong language that you need, refer to Section Anti-theft audio system and instrument panel language, for instructions on how to set the desired language.
Withdrawal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. On most models, the radios are held in place by internal clips, which are usually located on the sides or corners of the unit's faceplate. Removal requires a special tool that is inserted into the holes to release the clips and be able to remove the radio. Such instruments can be made by yourself from a thick wire or purchased at a dealer service department or from a car audio specialist. On anti-theft radios, the clips slide in and out with internal screws, requiring the use of a different tool. Insert the tool into the holes and release the clips, then remove the radio from the instrument panel. Disconnect the wiring from it and remove it.
3. On some models, the radio is held in place by screws located under the bezel. The adjustment knobs must be removed before removing the front panel.
Installation
Install in reverse order.
