Tubes are used as rigid connections in the brake system. The connection to the wheels is made by flexible brake hoses that can withstand pressure.
Raise the car.
Loosen the union nuts and remove the brake pipe.
Close the connection point of the tube in the direction to the main brake cylinder with a plug, or preliminarily suck out the brake fluid from the expansion tank.
Lay a new tube, if possible, in the old place.
If you need to replace the brake hose, you must first remove the brake caliper.
Screw the brake hose to the brake pipe with a tightening torque of 15 Nm.
Install only brake hoses recommended by the factory. On sale there are only straight brake pipes of the required length and with nipples, connections. The tube should be bent using the old tube. Do not damage the tube surface, do not bend or straighten the tubes back.
After installation, check without load (the car is raised), whether the hose follows all the movements of the wheel and whether it rubs.
Attention: Do not allow brake hoses to come into contact with oil or kerosene, do not cover them with paint and underbody protection.
Remove air from the brake system.
Lower the car.
