Ignition and injection systems — check (BMW 7 Series E32)

For a smart and effective troubleshooting, it is necessary to use special measuring devices, which are very expensive and usually only available in workshops. In this regard, only the basic checks are described here: checking the voltage and charge state of the battery and checking the fuses (see chapter "Electrical equipment").

Disconnect and reconnect all connectors of the relevant electronic systems. Check the tightness of the connectors and the fastening of the wires in the engine compartment.

Check all ground connections for tightness and quality of connections.

Check the hoses and wires for leaks, as well as connections for tightness, corrosion and other damage.
