Attention: When working on the fuel system, attention must be paid to cleanliness.
The fuel system is under pressure. Therefore, before replacing parts, you must relieve the pressure in the system. In this case, it is necessary to carefully loosen the fuel supply lines, and when removing them, place a rag under them.
Pressure releases on its own (without loosening fuel line connections), when the engine has not been running for several hours.
Before checking the injection system, you need to make sure that the ignition is in order, i.e. parts of the ignition system, including spark plugs, comply with the technical data.
Disconnect or connect the plug of the DME control unit only when the ignition is switched off. Pay attention to the correct fit of all plugs.
Do not start the engine without a securely connected battery
Do not disconnect the wires from the battery while the engine is running.
Disconnect the battery when fast charging. Do not use the charger to start the engine.
Do not heat the control box above 80°C.
When measuring compression, de-energize the DME system by removing the main relay.
