Caution: When working with the power supply system maintain exceptional cleanliness.
The fuel supply system is under pressure. Therefore, before replacing parts, it is necessary to reduce the pressure in the system. To do this, carefully loosen the fastening of the fuel supply line and cover the line with rags before removing it.
Excess pressure drops by itself (without releasing the fuel line fastening), when the engine has not been running for several hours.
Before checking the injection system, it is necessary to make sure that the ignition system is in order, i.e. the system itself and the spark plugs must meet the requirements.
Disconnect and connect the multi-pin connector of the DME control unit only with the ignition switched off. Ensure that all connectors are securely connected.
Do not start the engine if the battery is not securely connected.
Never disconnect the battery while the engine is running.
For accelerated charging, disconnect the battery from the vehicle electrical system. Do not use the device for accelerated charging of the battery to start the engine.
Do not expose the control unit to temperatures above +80°C.
At compression test disconnect the power supply to the DME system by removing the main relay.
