Attention: When working on the power system maintain exceptional cleanliness.
The fuel supply system is under pressure. Therefore, before replacing parts, it is necessary to lower the pressure in the system. To do this, carefully loosen the fastening of the fuel supply line and cover the line with rags before removing it.
Excess pressure drops by itself (without releasing the fuel line), when the engine has not been running for several hours.
Before checking the injection system, you must make sure that the ignition system is in order, i.e. the system itself and the spark plugs must meet the requirements.
Disconnect and connect the multi-pin connector of the DME control unit only when the ignition is switched off. Make sure that all connectors are securely connected.
Do not start the engine if the battery is not securely connected.
Never disconnect the battery while the engine is running.
For accelerated charging, disconnect the battery from the on-board network. Do not use a battery booster to start the engine.
Do not expose the control unit to temperatures above +80°C.
At compression test disconnect the voltage supply to the DME system by removing the main relay.
