2. Remove the upper section of the air filter housing together with the MAF sensor on the corresponding side (see chapter Fuel and exhaust systems).
3. When working with the left ignition distributor, loosen the clamps securing the electrical wiring harness.
4. Press the latches and remove the protective cover.
5. Remove the interference suppression plug.
Remember or mark the locations of the I/O wire connections so that you don't mix them up later.
6. Remove the bolts and the distributor cap, being careful not to damage the radiator fins.
7. Unscrew the bolts and remove the distributor rotor.
