Removal and installation the rearview mirror on the left or right front door
1. Remove the front door trim.
2. Push the cover (1) and the rubber guide seal (2) to the side.
3. Disconnect the connector (3).
4. Unscrew the screws (4).
Tightening torque: 7 Nm.
Note: When using self-tapping screws when installing a new rearview mirror, the tightening torque increases by 2 N·m.
5. Remove the rear view mirror (1) by moving it outwards.
Note: The sound insulation (1) on the outside rearview mirror (2) must not be damaged.
6. If necessary, replace the old mirror glass.
7. If necessary, replace the old mirror housing.
8. If necessary, replace the old mirror retaining ring.
9. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
10. Check the functioning.
