Attention:
- When used with xenon headlights, high voltage is life-threatening. Before removal, disconnect all components from the power source (the lighting system and ignition are off).
- Work with all components of the xenon lighting system (gas discharge initiator, control unit and lamp) should be performed only by qualified personnel.
- Observe the instructions for handling incandescent lamps (external lighting).
1. Remove the front bumper trim.
2. Partially remove the headlight bracket.
Note: Only for versions with M-style aerodynamic kit.
3. Disconnect the connectors (1).
4. Unscrew the screws (2).
Tightening torque: 2 Nm.
5. Unscrew the screws (3).
Tightening torque: 6 Nm.
6. Remove the headlight (4) in the direction indicated by the arrow.
Note:
- When installing, it is necessary to insert the headlight (1) so that the fasteners (2) exactly match the guides (3).
- Observe the size of the gaps.
- Adjust the headlights.
7. Remove the gas discharge initiator/xenon headlight lamp.
Note: Only when replacing the left headlight.
8. Remove the xenon headlight control unit.
Note: Only when replacing the left headlight.
9. Remove the incandescent bulbs.
Note: Only when replacing the left headlight.
10. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
