Attention:
- When used with xenon headlights, high voltage is life-threatening. Before removal, disconnect all components from the power source (the lighting system and ignition are off).
- Work with all components of the xenon lighting system (gas discharge initiator, control unit and lamp) should be performed only by qualified personnel.
- Observe the instructions for handling incandescent lamps (external lighting).
1. Partially remove the air filter housing.
Note: For modification with engine N 46.
2. Unlock the lock (1) in the direction indicated by the arrow and bend the casing (2) downwards.
3. Remove the casing (2) from the headlight (3).
4. Turn the gas discharge initiator (1) of the xenon headlight approximately 30° to the left and disconnect it from the headlight (3).
Note: When turning the gas discharge initiator (1) of the xenon headlight, the connector (2) disconnects itself.
5. Remove the gas discharge initiator (1) of the xenon headlight through the hole in the headlight (4) and remove.
6. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
