Remove the air filter assembly.
Disconnect the fuel lines from the pump.
Remove the fuel drain hose 1 (see photo), oil supply pipe 2, coolant supply hose 3 and the oil dipstick bracket with the starter wire holder.

At the rear of the pump, disconnect the coolant drain hose 4, the oil drain pipe 5 and the hose 6 for supplying additional air to the heating sensor. Unscrew bolt 7.
Disconnect the connecting rod from the pump control lever and remove the upper protective cover.
Install the piston of the 1st cylinder (counting from the pump drive side) to the TDC position. In this case, the mark on the crankshaft pulley should be aligned with the mark on the cylinder block, and the mark on the toothed pulley of the pump drive should coincide with the mark on its cover.
Remove the pump drive toothed pulley using puller 6078.
Remove the injection pump by turning it so as to release the spherical cup from the intermediate shaft.
The pump is installed in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
- orient the pump so that the spherical cup can be inserted into its socket without force. Do not forget to install the dust cover;
- before installing the pump drive toothed pulley, make sure that the piston of the 1st cylinder is in the TDC position and that the key is inserted into the groove of the pump shaft;
- install the nipple "A" (see photo) so that it does not interfere with the movement of the mixture enrichment lever;
- do not swap the fuel lines connected to the pump;
- perform throttle synchronization.
