Installation of a reverse gearbox (GA 6L45R)
1. Drain the automatic transmission oil through the oil drain hole.
Tightening torque: 19 Nm.
Attention:
- Collect and dispose of the oil leaking from the automatic transmission.
- Observe the applicable national disposal regulations.
Attention:
- Before installing the reverse gearbox, thoroughly flush the gearbox radiator and pipelines.
- After completing the work, check the oil level.
- The return gearbox is supplied filled with oil.
- Use only certified brands of transmission oil.
- Violation of this rule leads to serious damage to the automatic transmission.
1. Remove the transfer case (all-wheel drive).
2. Remove the automatic transmission.
3. Remove the transport bracket (1)-
4. Rearrange all wire holders.
5. Rearrange all plugs.
6. Remove the protective cap on the output shaft.
7. Transfer the bearing bracket to the new gearbox (if any).
Tightening torque: 48 Nm.
Caution: After removing the transport bracket, the torque converter must be secured against slipping.
