Installing a reverse gearbox
1. Drain the automatic transmission oil through the oil drain hole.
Tightening torque: 18 Nm.
Attention:
- Collect and dispose of the oil leaking from the automatic transmission.
- Observe the applicable national disposal regulations.
Attention:
- Before installing the reverse gearbox, thoroughly flush the gearbox radiator and pipelines.
- After completing the work, check the oil level.
- Use only certified brands of transmission oil.
- Violation of this rule leads to serious damage to the automatic transmission.
- The return gearbox is supplied filled with oil.
1. Remove the transfer case.
2. Remove the automatic transmission.
3. Move the balancer (2) of the control unit.
4. Move the rod bracket (3).
5. Move the transport bracket (1).
6. Rearrange all wire holders.
7. Rearrange all plugs.
8. Move the protective cover to the output shaft.
Caution: After removing the transport bracket, the torque converter must be secured against slipping.
