Installing a reverse transfer case (ATC400/500XDRIVE)
Attention: After replacement, use the GT1 service function "Repair.".
Attention:
- Collect and dispose of leaking transmission oil.
- Observe the applicable national disposal regulations.
1. Drain the oil through the oil drain hole.
Tightening torque: 33 Nm.
2. Remove the transfer case.
3. Transfer the following parts from the old transfer case to the new one.
1) Rearrange the lids and protective caps.
2) Move the input shaft protection during transportation.
3) Move the hose connecting the transfer case to the atmosphere.
4) Replace the vibration damper (M47 T2).
Tightening torque: 20.5 Nm.
5) Rearrange the rubber-metal mounting hinges (replace if necessary).
4. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
