Removal and installation the transfer case control unit (ATC400/500XDRIVE)
Caution: Follow electrostatic discharge (ESD) safety instructions.
Attention:
- After replacement, use the GT1 to perform the "Repair" service function.
- Perform coding/programming.
- For vehicles manufactured before 03/05, the old diagnostic algorithm is used. For vehicles produced after 03/05, a new diagnostic algorithm is used.
1. Remove the front part of the luggage compartment floor trim.
2. Unscrew the nuts (1).
3. Unlock and disconnect the connector.
4. Remove the control unit (2).
5. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
