- Warm up the car's RK to operating temperature by driving 7-10 km at high speed. Unscrew the plug (1, Fig. 2.50) transfer case filler hole. Unscrew the drain plug and let the oil drain from the transfer case.

- Replace the sealing rings of the RK plugs. Clean and screw in the plug (M18) of the drain hole, tightening it to a torque of 33 N·m (3.3 kgf·m).
- Fill the transfer case with oil up to the lower edge of the filler hole (1), until it starts to overflow. Allow excess oil to drain and clean the transfer case. Screw in and tighten the threaded plug (1) of the transfer case filler hole to a torque of 33 N·m (3.3 kgf·m).
- Take a short run, about 15-17 km, and check the tightness of the transfer case, oil leaks are not allowed. Send the drained oil for disposal
RK type "ATC400/500"
Changing the oil in the transfer case (RC) type "ATC400/500" should be carried out in a similar order, taking into account the location of the plugs (Fig. 2.51-2.53) on them.
1 - filler plug; 2 - drain plug
