Preventive maintenance with an engine oil change is carried out on cars with gasoline engines every 15 thousand km or at least once a year. For vehicles with diesel engines, the oil is changed every 10 thousand km or once a year. Under difficult operating conditions such as frequent short distance driving, city driving, frequent mountain driving, trailer towing, and operation in dusty areas, the frequency of maintenance should be halved.
Engine: Change oil and filter.
Diesel engine: Drain the water from the fuel filter.
Air filter: check the filter element, replace it if dirty.
Perform toxic concentration measurements and interrogate the diagnostic unit for trouble codes (In workshop).
Heating and air conditioning system: Check the cabin air filter element, replace if dirty.
Brakes: Check the thickness of the working layer of the front and rear brake pads. Check the parking brake.
Chassis and load-bearing body parts: Check for damage and corrosion.
Check the operation of all electrical consumers.
Cooling and heating system: check the coolant level, top up if necessary. Check coolant concentration.
