The following tools are required to change the oil.
Inspection hole or lift, or device for sucking oil from the crankcase.
Depending on the design of the filter, a socket head of 13 or 36 mm for unscrewing the central bolt of the filter housing.
17 mm or 19 mm socket for unscrewing the drain plug and drain container with a volume of approx. 8 liters.
The following consumables are required:
Only if oil is not being sucked out of the crankcase: aluminum gasket (seal) for drain plug. The drain plug has an M12 thread and the seal is A12x15.15.
filter element (oil filter).
O-ring for oil filter housing cover and, depending on the design, 1 or 2 O-rings for the central bolt. The same engine variant may have 2 different oil filter designs, which must be considered when purchasing parts.
From 6.5 to 7.5 liters of engine oil depending on the engine.
The difference in levels between the MIN and MAX marks on the dipstick is about 1 liter.
Oil change is carried out in accordance with the indications of the maintenance interval control system or every 15 thousand km for gasoline engines, or every 10 thousand km for diesel engines. With low mileage, the oil and filter should be changed once a year. Under severe operating conditions (frequent short trips, riding in dusty areas) oil should be changed more frequently. Engine oil in the workshop can be sucked out of the crankcase using a special probe through the dipstick tube.
