Replacing the cabin air filter (BMW X5 E53)

            0

The cabin air filters are located in the front part of the engine compartment, on the right and left. The filter is replaced when the ventilation system power decreases, when its throughput drops. Replacing the right and left filters is similar. Replace the cabin air filter in the following order.
  • Open the hood, move the clamps forward, open the filter cover and remove the filter element.
  • Install the air filter in the reverse order, installing a new filter element, closing the filter cover and securing the clamps.
