Exhaust gas neutralization system (BMW X5 E53)
To ensure exhaust gas toxicity standards, an air blower (Fig. 4.25) is used, directing atmospheric air into the exhaust manifold, which facilitates the afterburning of residual fuel in the exhaust gas.
