Cover in the trunk floor

Cover in the trunk floor

To secure the cover in the open position, lift it by the ring and secure it to the rubber seal of the gutter (as shown by the arrow in the illustration).

Trunk mat

Trunk mat

You can turn the mat over if necessary, for example when transporting dirty items. The rubberized side is easy to clean and prevents items placed on it from slipping.

The corners of the luggage compartment are equipped with special loops for attaching cargo-retaining nets* or tension straps to secure individual items.

Please also refer to Section Salon equipment.

Roof rack

A special roof rack is offered as an additional equipment item. Follow the recommendations contained in the installation instructions.

When loading the trunk, the height of the car's center of gravity increases on the lid, which significantly changes its dynamic qualities and controllability.

Therefore, when loading, make sure not to exceed the load capacity of the luggage rack, as well as the permissible limits of the gross vehicle weight and axle load. You will find the relevant data in the Specifications.

The load placed on the roof rack should be distributed evenly and as compactly as possible. Heavy items should be placed at the bottom.

Make sure that there is enough space to lift the hatch cover and that the load placed on the luggage rack does not interfere with opening the hatch cover.

Correct and reliable fastening of the stowed load will prevent it from shifting or falling from the vehicle while it is moving (posing a danger to vehicles driving behind you).

You should drive your car in a balanced manner, avoiding jerking from a standing start, sudden braking and reckless driving on turns.

Loaded luggage on top increases the area of frontal resistance. As a result, fuel consumption increases and the load on the body increases.
