Withdrawal
1. Vehicles equipped with xenon headlights have an automatic headlight beam adjustment system. Sensors installed on the front and rear axles of the car inform the system about the value of the ground clearance, and the headlight electric drives change the angle of the light beam in the desired direction. The sensors are installed between the subframes and the lower control arms. To access the sensor, lift the corresponding part of the car and place it on supports (cm. "Lifting and placing the car on supports"). Remove the crankcase protection (if it exists).
2. Turn away a nut of fastening of draft to the sensor lever and disconnect draft.
3. Turn away two nuts of fastening and remove the gauge. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor (pic. 12.3).
Installation
4. Install the sensor in the reverse order of removal. Make sure the wiring connectors are securely connected.
