Horn(s) — Removal and Installation (BMW 3 Series E46)
Removal
1. The sound signal is installed behind the bumper on the right and left.
2. To access the horns from underneath, apply the parking brake, raise the front of the vehicle and support it on stands (see "Lifting and installing the car on supports"). Loosen the mounting screws and remove the front lower section of the mudguard. Disconnect and remove the brake disc cooling air duct.
3. Loosen the mounting nut/bolt and remove the horn. Disconnect the wiring connector from the horn.
Installation
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
