Removal and installation the horn (BMW 5 Series E34)
On the left and right behind the front decorative grille next to the headlights are two fanfares. The horn button activates a relay via a movable contact on the steering wheel that activates the horn.
Remove the front decorative grille.
Unscrew the wire from the horn.
Unscrew the horn from the bracket.
Screw on the horn and connect the wire.
Install the front decorative grille.
Removal

Unscrew the horn from the bracket.
Installation
Screw on the horn and connect the wire.
Install the front decorative grille.
