Removal and installation the fuel rail pressure sensor (BMW 7 Series E38)

1. On models with an engine M57 remove the intake manifold (see chapter Engine), plug the intake ports.

2. Disconnect the connector and disconnect the pressure sensor from the fuel rail.

2 — Pressure sensor
3 - Threaded ring

1 - Pressure sensor
2 — Fuel distribution line

On models with M57 engine, it is not permitted to loosen the threaded ring (3).

3. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
