After removing the manifold, you should immediately close the intake ports in the cylinder head.
If the installed charge air hoses are not degreased or are damp, this may result in turbocharger failure.
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Remove the front section of the top engine cover and lift up the center section of the top cover.

3. Remove the positive battery terminal cover in the engine compartment. Loosen the nut and remove the positive terminal with an upward movement.

4. Remove the soundproofing covers from the intake manifold.

5. Unscrew the screws (1) and remove the profile seal (2).

6. Disconnect the boost pressure sensor connector.

7. Loosen the clamp (1), disconnect the hose (2) and remove the clamp (3) of the EGR system pipe.

8. Remove the screws (1) and nuts (2). Disconnect the vacuum line (3) from the EGR valve. Raise the intake manifold slightly and release the vacuum line (from a vacuum pump) from the clamps on the bottom of the intake manifold.
Make sure both clamps of the soundproofing casing are in the correct position on the manifold. After removing the pipe, close the intakes immediately to prevent contamination.

9. Replace the sealing rings (1 and 2).
10. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. The mating surfaces must be dry and degreased.
