If the installed charge air hoses are not degreased or wet, the turbocharger may fail.
1. Remove the engine top cover and cooling fan shroud.
2. Remove the air cleaner element (see chapter Vehicle settings and routine maintenance).
3. Turn out bolts (1) and remove the hose in the direction of the arrow.
At installation grease working edges of sealing rings of a hose with a thin layer of vaseline.
4. Loosen clamp (1) fastenings of the pipeline of the exhaust gas recirculation system. Remove the screws (2 and 3) and remove the heat shield and EGR pipe.
5. Release clamp (1) on the turbocharger and close the opening of the turbocharger. Open the clamp on the intercooler and disconnect the charge air hose from the right side of the intercooler. Remove the pipeline (2) charge air together with the charge air hose.
6. Remove the bolt on the upper flow catalytic converter bracket.
7. Loosen the bolts.
8. Remove the locking cap (1) heat shield and pull up the plugs.
9. Turn out three bolts located under plugs.
Lubricate the threads with copper paste when installing.
10. Give nuts and remove a final collector.
11. Clean mating surfaces and install new collector gasket.
