Fuel level indicator sensor (BMW X5 E53)

The fuel level indicator sensors are lever-type and each half of the fuel tank has its own sensor. The right lever sensor is built into the fuel supply unit, and the left one is located on the left side of the fuel tank. Together, the resistance value measured by the right and left sensors gives the actual value of the fuel tank filling level.
