Examination
If the brake lights don't come on, check the fuse first. Then check the bulbs. If the corresponding lamps are not burnt out, check the brake light switch.
To do this, remove the lower left trim (above the pedal).
Disconnect the connector from the brake light switch while squeezing the tabs.
Turn on the ignition.
Jumper both brake light switch wires. If the brake light does not come on, adjust or replace the brake light switch.
Withdrawal
Disconnect the connector from the brake light switch while squeezing the tabs.
Lightly depress the brake pedal and grasp between the pedal and the brake light switch push button. With your fingers, pull out the button and the red locking sleeve of the switch in the direction of the arrow, that is, in the direction of the pedal. The bushing must be completely pulled out of the switch, otherwise the switch will not be removed from the pedal support. This requires some effort.
Pull the switch back out of the holder.
Installation
Insert the switch with the bushing completely out into the pedal support and click into place.
Slide the red locking sleeve into the switch until the lug of the sleeve rests against the pedal support.
Check if the brake lights come on with the ignition on.
Install the bottom cover.
