Removal and installation the lower engine compartment casing (BMW 5 Series E39)
Removal
Raise the car.

Using a screwdriver, loosen the Phillips-head "arrow" clamps securing the rear part of the casing by ¼ turn (under the engine oil pan) and remove the casing.

Unscrew the fasteners of the front part of the casing (behind the bumper) "arrows", detach the casing from the bumper and remove.
Installation
First attach the front part of the casing, then the back and secure.
Lower the car.
