Caution: Be sure to adjust the brake pedal height after removing or replacing the master cylinder or brake booster. Also adjust the position of the brake light switch.

Measure the distance between the lower edge of the brake pedal rubber pad and the bulkhead and compare the result with the required data.
To adjust the pedal height, loosen the lock nut (1) and, holding the clamp (3), rotate the push rod (2) until the distance (A) matches the required data. A = 245 mm.

Caution: The brake light switch must be checked and, if necessary, adjusted after removing or replacing the master cylinder or brake booster.
The brake light switch is mounted in a bracket on top of the brake pedal. The switch operates each time the pedal is pressed.
Measure the distance between the contact point with the switch on the brake pedal (pedal not pressed) and the switch casing and compare the obtained result with the value A = 5-6 mm.

If adjustment is required, disconnect the wires from the switch. Loosen the locknuts (1), screw the switch (2) in or out slightly to achieve the correct plunger length, and retighten the locknuts. Reconnect the wires and check the operation of the switch.
