Clutch slave cylinder — removal and installation (BMW 7 Series E32)
Clutch slave cylinder
1 - toothed ring;
2 - anther;
3 - cuff.
Removal
Only when the hydraulic line needs to be removed: suck out the brake fluid from the reservoir using a suitable syringe.
Caution: Brake fluid is poisonous and should not be sucked out by mouth.
Raise and support the vehicle, remove the lower engine cover (mudguard).
Unscrew the cylinder mounting nuts.

Unscrew the hydraulic line.
Caution: If the clutch slave cylinder is not replaced, the hydraulic line.
Installation
Clean the slave cylinder push rod and lightly lubricate it with grease.

Install the slave cylinder on the gearbox and tighten its mounting nuts to a torque of 25 Nm.
Install the hydraulic line on the slave cylinder and tighten it to 15 Nm. Fill with brake fluid, bleed air from the hydraulic drive system.
Install the lower engine cover (mudguard).
