Replacing the hydraulic accumulator (BMW 7 Series E38)

1. Remove the wheel arch liner (see chapter Body), unscrew the pressure relief plug (1) on the regulating valve and collect the bleed oil.

2. Disconnect the pipes (see illustration), unscrew the bolts (1) and remove the hydraulic accumulator.

3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. After installation, check the power steering oil level (see chapter Vehicle settings and routine maintenance).
