The procedure for replacing the rear wheel bearing is the same as for the front suspension (see part Front suspension). The removal and installation of the wheel bearing support is described below.
1. Press the drive shaft out of the corresponding wheel hub (see Section Removal and installation of power shafts Chapters Cardan and drive shafts, gearbox, differential and hub assemblies).
2. Remove the brake pad spreader, caliper and ABS wheel sensor (see chapter Brake system).
3. Remove push rod/integral arm (see Section Removal and installation of levers and extensions of a back suspension bracket).
4. Disconnect the shock absorber from the wheel bearing support.
When installing the head (1) with the flats of the rubber-metal hinge should face the bolt head.
5. Give nuts and remove a support of the wheel bearing.
Nut pins and holes must be free of grease when installed. Use new nuts.
6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Finally, check and adjust the rear wheel alignment.
