Attention! The pressure pipeline between the high-pressure pump and the hydraulic accumulator is disposable.
Replacement of pressure pipeline (6, see Fig. 6.109) between the high-pressure fuel pump (1) and the hydraulic accumulator (7) must be carried out in the following order. Prepare the "13.5.020" device. Read the information from the memory of the faulty DDE system ECU. Switch off the ignition and remove the intake manifold. Close the intake channels and protect the generator from contamination. Prepare a container to collect the leaking fuel.
Using the device "13.5.020", unscrew the union nuts (1, Fig. 6.111) fastenings of the pressure pipeline and remove it. Disconnect the shock absorber (2) and remove the rubber-metal cushion (3).
Install a new pressure pipe and tighten the union nuts to a torque of 23 N·m (2.3 kgf·m). Pay attention to the correct position of the rubber-metal cushion (3).
